In media session 1, We interview each other in our class and write an article about the content of our interview. Then, we format it together to become a Fashion Journalism.
It’s my first time to create a fashion journalism, I think it’s quite interesting! I have been seen a lot of interviews on magazine or website, sometimes I felt that the editor has the magic to find the most touching characteristic from one person from a simple paragraph or talk, it’s magical. One of my favourite authors who is Neil Gaiman also worked as an interviewer in his early age. He said the job helped him to writing fiction.
When I’m talking with others, I recorded some key words as well, I think it’s the most efficient way, but I still found a shortcoming of this method, I need to make it become an entire sentence at the end, but it’s hard to know about their attitude if I just recorded the key word, I need to imagined and add some personal thought, I felt it’s not accurate, If I have more time, I think I should recorded somethings about the mood or more details, I think it might be helpful.
In addition, we also add some picture with the words to format the article. It’s quite funny as well. But I did not realise the importance of turning key words into specific sentence, so I’m slowly again, and did not have time to add more interesting collage.
All in all, it’s a funny course and I got some very interesting experience from it. I know about people who studied with me will have different ambition and different imagination of their future. But what confused me is that I thought it would be a film course, I brought my shoes with me, but it took rest in the corner of the classroom for the whole day.
