In visual studies session, we used copies of our shoe’s illustrations from last visual studies 1 session to made collage and then draw a fashion illustration on a lay out paper.
I’m happy with my works basically, I gradually felt comfortable to drawing here. I think it’s not only because I’m good at drawing, but just because I found a way to reduce stress when I was drawing in front of others. I studied in an art middle school, it’s very difficult for me to drawing there because I always compared myself with others, when I’m drawing in front of others, the pressure would affect me, I cannot just enjoy drawing in a long time. But after the last few drawing courses, I understood how important to just focus on yourself. Now, I’m very happy that I could enjoy drawing itself again, it’s the most precious thing for me.
I also met some problem during the drawing process. When I started to draw on the lay out paper, I want to put some big colour block to separate the clothes into different pieces. However, what I did not expected is that I forgot the layout paper is not that clear as tracing paper, after I use colour pencil to fill a big colour block, I cannot see any details on that paper, I totally dumbfounded. But fortunately, it seems that it could be erased, I draw some details selectively on the place that it’s easier to observe and give some space to avoid crowed.
All in all, I think there is not too much things to tell today, It’s just a normal drawing experience, I love it as always (( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
